Most of my disposable income goes towards investing in my health, self-education, and life experiences.
So, I want to share with you the exact products that I personally invest in.
These products “power” the ADHD Boss website.
I actually use these products, and know that they work.
Enjoy…

The 10 Best Natural Alternatives to Vyvanse That Actually Work
Most ADHD sufferers understand just how useful Vyvanse can be. I’ve taken Vyvanse for roughly one year, and I would continue to take it if I could. But, life is complicated, and sometimes you need natural alternatives to Vyvanse for when you can’t take your Vyvanse prescription.
The Top 10 Natural Alternatives to Xanax – Real Anxiety Remedies
I’ve had many friends deal with problems related to Xanax addiction.
While I see the value of using Xanax for severe medical conditions in the short-term, I generally believe that this prescription medication can cause a lot of harm in the long-term.
This article reveals my top 10 natural alternatives to Xanax, for people who would prefer to take a more holistic path to reducing anxiety symptoms.

Blue Ice Fermented Cod Liver Oil / Butter Oil Blend – Cinnamon Gel (Amazon)
This is a blend of fermented cod liver oil and gold concentrated butter oil.
The cod livers used in this product are from fish that were caught off the coast of Alaska. The gold concentrated butter oil in this product is pure oil from grass-fed cows.
But, this is actually a gel that tastes mostly like cinnamon. So it’s really easy to eat. And it’s amazingly good for you.
This product has been referred to as a “high vitamin butter oil” in the classic book Nutrition and Physical Degeneration.
It’s a powerhouse of vitamins A and D, which means that this product is great for improving neurological function, fighting inflammation, making your skin look better, and so much more.
Many people also claim that this product heals cavities.
Take half a teaspoon daily.
Note: Yes, this cod liver oil butter oil blend is kind of expensive. I think it’s worth the price. But, if it isn’t in your budget, then no worries. Pure fish oil is your next best bet (see below).
This is the best black seed oil that I’ve been able to find. I always keep a few bottles of this black seed oil in my kitchen pantry.
Black seed oil is excellent for killing brain fog, fighting disease, and reducing feelings of anxiety.
I always feel more “stoic” when I take black seed oil. It’s a very calming feeling.
The effects of black seed oil seem to build up over time. So if you don’t feel it working at first, just keep taking 1 or 2 teaspoons daily, and you’ll eventually experience the full benefits.
Life Extension Magnesium Citrate (Amazon)
I recommend taking two capsules of magnesium citrate before bed.
Magnesium citrate will help you sleep better, reduce feelings of anxiety, and improve your cardiovascular (heart) function.
If you’re athletic, taking magnesium citrate will also help you recover from your workouts.
This is an affordable and all-around useful supplement.
Rainbow Light Brain & Focus Multivitamin (Amazon)
It’s always best to get most of your vitamins and nutrients from your diet. But, it’s also somewhat difficult to get all of the nutrition that you need entirely from your diet.
Most people with ADHD live crazy lives. And sometimes, we just don’t eat right.
(If you take ADHD medication, then you might even forget to eat sometimes.)
I like Rainbow Light because they make food-based multivitamins, which means that this multivitamin is made from real foods.
You can take 1 to 3 mini-tabs daily to cover all of your nutritional needs. Especially on days when you don’t eat well.
Pure Encapsulations Vitamin D3 5,000 IU (Amazon)
Vitamin D is one of the top supplements that I recommend to people with ADHD, because vitamin D is great for improving your cognitive function.
You’ll most likely notice an immediate improvement in how you feel after supplementing with vitamin D.
If you’re like most Americans, then odds are strong that you’re deficient in vitamin D anyway. So it’s best to take 5000 IUs daily.
Note: If you spend a lot of time outdoors and directly in the sun, then you won’t need to supplement with vitamin D. I find that supplementing with vitamin D is most useful during the fall and winter months, when it’s much harder to get direct sunlight.
Self-education resources
Homeostasis is the invisible biological force that prevents you from taking risks, improving your position in life, and becoming your best self.
Learning how to conquer homeostasis may be the most important decision that you ever make.
Discovering homeostasis is what pushed me to create this website, get my health in check, and strive to live the best life possible with ADHD.
Breaking Out of Homeostasis is the ultimate self-improvement book that I recommend to anyone who’s ready and willing to make transformational changes in their life.
I loved this book so much that I wrote a full Breaking Out of Homeostasis review.
Super Rich: A Guide to Having It All (Amazon)
This book has nothing to do with amassing wealth.
Quite the contrary, Super Rich is a spiritual book by Russell Simmons.
I highly-recommend reading this book if you’re interested in spiritual and emotional fulfillment.
Super Rich also provides the best explanation of how to meditate that I’ve ever read.
If you’ve always found it hard to meditate, then I can almost guarantee that this book will have you meditating daily. The method that Simmons explains is dead-simple for anyone with ADHD to do (hint: he explains Transcendental Meditation in full detail).
Deep Nutrition: Why Your Genes Need Traditional Food (Amazon)
Do you eat a lot of processed foods?
This book explains why you’ll probably feel amazing once you start eating “ancestral foods”, or foods that your ancestors ate.
To put it simply, your body needs foods like meat on the bone, organ meats, and leafy green vegetables. Your ADHD brain will feel 1000x better once you start eating traditional foods.
It’s worth noting that the author of this book, Dr. Catherine Shanahan, is the science director of the Los Angeles Lakers nutrition program. She has a proven ability to help elite athletes compete at the highest levels. You’ll definitely want to “get in” on this knowledge as soon as possible.
The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich (Amazon)
This is the book that helped me understand that it’s possible to strategically leave my job, live anywhere in the world, and grow a website all at the same time.
If you’re interested in doing something similar as myself, this book is a great entry point to the abundant world of entrepreneurial possibilities.
My favorite part of this book is Tim Ferriss’ outlook on retirement.
He believes that it’s better to take frequent “mini-retirements” early in life, rather than waiting around for the “golden years” which may or may not actually happen.
How to Stop Worrying and Start Living (Amazon)
This is a classic book that will help you kill negative thoughts, constant worrying, and anxiety.
Dale Carnegie was an amazingly charismatic storyteller.
The stories in this book are about people who have had real problems to worry about. Like, people who narrowly escaped death and despair.
In other words, this book will put your life in perspective, and help you understand why your life is much better than you think.
How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big (Amazon)
Don’t set goals, build systems.
This book, which is written by Scott Adams (famous for the Dilbert cartoon), is one of the greatest “life success” books. Everyone with ADHD can read this book –regardless of your age, experience, or current station in life.
It provides a complete breakdown of why you should build systems for your life, and how to build systems.
After reading the book, you’ll probably come to realize that your life is a series of systems.
Lifestyle resources
Microsoft OneNote is the ultimate note-taking software for people with ADHD.
It’s a very simple tool that will help you organize your ideas, to-do lists, bucket list, or anything else that you need to write down in digital format.
I use OneNote to create a new to-do list every day.
I also use OneNote to keep track of inspirational quotes, personal affirmations, reader testimonials, travel tips, and other random stuff. Oh, and I also have a full page on OneNote that’s dedicated to my life vision.
You can easily manage all of your personal information with OneNote.
Best of all, OneNote is completely free for everyone to use.
Osprey Packs Nebula Daypack (Amazon)
I love this daypack for a few reasons.
First of all, it’s an awesome daypack for storing your laptop, journal, snacks, clothes, two water bottles (one on each side), and any other items that you might need to carry around town.
Secondly, Osprey is known for having legendary customer service. Osprey will repair any damage or defect for any reason, free of charge, for a lifetime.
If you’re a fan of high-quality (and beautiful) daypacks, get the Osprey Nebula.
There’s something special about writing in a nice notebook.
It’s always nice to keep a Moleskine on hand, so that you can easily write down any ideas that you come up with.
If you take ADHD medication, then you need to drink plenty of water.
I like Klean Kanteens because they’re BPA-free, and made from stainless steel.
They’re also leak-proof.
I’ve had my Klean Kanteen for about one year, and it’s worked flawlessly for both hot and cold drinks.
Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphones (Amazon)
Yeah, these headphones are big and kind of ugly.
But, they’re without a doubt the best over-ear headphones that you’ll find for the price.
These headphones will last you many years if you take care of them. They also sound amazing, and block out most noise around you.
I use these headphones to listen to EDM instrumentals while I write.
If you work at the computer for long periods of time, then I can almost guarantee that investing in a high-quality pair of headphones will boost your productivity.
Blogging resources
WordPress is a free Content Management System (CMS) that makes it super easy for anyone to start blogging in minutes.
I’ve used WordPress as the CMS for all of my websites, including ADHD Boss.
Most web hosting solutions will allow you to automatically install WordPress in just one click (see below).
If you want to start your own blog, then I recommend using SiteGround for WordPress web hosting.
SiteGround is the best web hosting solution for new bloggers, because they have excellent customer support.
I’ve used web hosts like HostGator and Bluehost before, and had mediocre experiences with both of them.
So, SiteGround is ideal for your first blog or website. I also like that SiteGround makes it really easy to “upgrade” your web hosting plan at any time.
Once your blog starts attracting thousands of readers, you’ll inevitably need to upgrade your web hosting plan, and SiteGround makes it easy to do this.
You can literally serve 100 or 100,000 readers with SiteGround.
